| contents | <p>Genus Scolopendra is found worldwide. These species primarily grow in warm climates and are found in a variety of habitats such as forests, grasslands, deserts, and caves. The present paper focuses on the various Scolopendra centipede species found in the Hatakanangle tehsil of Kolhapur district of Maharashtra, India. This study was done from January 2023 to December 2024, by visiting various fields within the Hatakanangle tehsil. During the present study, a total of 38 Scolopendra individuals were collected. Species were collected using different collection methods, including the picking method.
