  • <p><em><span>Energy literacy is a fundamental pillar for understanding the role of energy in modern society and for promoting sustainable practices. Through energy education, individuals gain the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions about energy consumption, management, and sources. Energy literacy enhances the adoption of clean technologies, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and improves energy efficiency. At the same time, it brings economic benefits such as lower operational costs and increased household income, while encouraging collective action to support green policies. Education and local initiatives play a critical role in fostering this awareness. Finally, understanding the factors that influence energy consumption behavior can lead to the development of tools that improve energy performance and shape a more sustainable future.</span></em></p>
