contents <p>This white paper proposes the NACOP theory—<strong>Neuroadaptive Collapse in Operator Populations</strong>—to explain the emotional, psychological, and physiological decline observed in many Special Forces (SOF) veterans. This theory suggests that <strong>undiagnosed ADHD</strong>, combined with <strong>emotional grooming (EG)</strong> and <strong>post-service loss of structure</strong>, creates a delayed but catastrophic collapse of self-regulation now described as "Operator Syndrome."</p>
