- <div> <div> <div> <div> <p>The Climate Leadership Institute (CLImates) is a program organized by COOLER to bring together university students and faculty, and local community-based organizations interested in building climate resilience.</p> <p>The 2024-2025 pilot CLImates program was composed of a cohort of 32 members. It was designed to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare University of Northern Colorado (UNC) students to work with community stakeholders on climate-related issues,</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare UNC faculty to employ their discipline-specific expertise in local climate-related challenges,</p> </li> <li> <p>Build the capacity of local community-based organizations to address climate resilience by increasing their</p> <p>access to academic and public resources, and strengthening their connection with other climate resilience practitioners.</p> </li> </ul> <div> <div> <div> <div> <p>CLImates cohort members spent 4 months (Dec 2024-April 2025) working on a local climate resilience project–often collaboratively with other CLImates members.</p> <p>At the end of the CLImates program, each project team gave a 5-min presentation about their work.</p> <p>This slide deck is composed of slides from those presentations, therefore providing a summary of the team projects completed during the 2024-2025 CLImates program.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div>
