contents <p>This is the supporting data for Linking Geodetically Resolved Uplift to Long-Term Orogenic Exhumation in the Southern Alps, New Zealand.</p> <p>This supporting information includes datasets in .txt format of InSAR LOS velocities for each frame and the 3-component velocity fields over the central Southern Alps, New Zealand, the data used for fault inversion, and a .grd file of the resulting exhumation proxy.</p> <p> </p> <p>Data Sets DS1–DS4: LOS Velocities (D1-4 LOS StaMPS velocities/)<br>D1–4 are the LOS velocities for tracks 023A, 125A, 044D, and 146D respectively. These have been corrected for DEM error and atmosphere, and downsampled to a 0.5 km resolution (Hooper et al., 2012; Bekaert et al., 2015). They are provided as a 7 column textfile, where columns are</p> <p>1) Longitude (degrees),</p> <p> 2) Latitude (Degrees),</p> <p>3) LOS Velocity (mm/yr</p> <p>4) Velocity STD (mm/yr),</p> <p> 5) Satellite Azimuth (degrees),</p> <p> 6) Incidence angle (degrees),</p> <p>7) Height of pixel</p> <p> </p> <p>Data Set DS5: ENU Velocities (D5 ENU velocity.txt)<br>East, north and up velocities (Fig. S2), where the GNSS north velocity (Beavan et al., 2016) is first removed from LOS before inverting for east and up (Wright et al.,<br>2004). A vertical GNSS transect (Beavan et al., 2010) was then used to reference the up velocities. These are provided in a 10 column textfile where columns<br>are 1) Longitude (degrees), 2) Latitude (degrees), 3–4) East velocity and error (mm/yr), 5–6) North velocity and error (mm/yr), 7–9) Unreferenced and referenced up velocity and error (mm/yr), and 10) Pixel Height (m).</p> <p> </p> <p>Data Set DS6: GBIS Profiles (D6 GBIS/)<br>This folder contains ENU velocities for each profile in a format ready for GBIS inversion (Bagnardi & Hooper, 2018). Also included are is the edited version of GBIS (GBIS V1.2)<br>used to invert for fault structure, including new model arrangements and the config files needed to run GBIS.</p> <p> </p> <p>Data Set DS7: Exhumation Proxy (D7 proxyExhumation.grd) </p> <p>Exhumation proxy created by adding the tGISU and modelled coseismic displacements in GMT 6.2.0 (Wessel et al., 2019). Provided as a .grd file, following application of a 2 × 2 km spatial filter.</p>
