- <p><span lang="EN-US"> This study investigates the prevalence and risk factors of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among jeepney drivers operating between Moalboal and Badian. Utilizing the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (CMDQ) and the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), the study assesses ergonomic risks associated with prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, and awkward postures commonly experienced by drivers. The findings reveal significant discomfort in the neck (21.15%), lower back (12.83%), and shoulders (7.15%), indicating the impact of prolonged periods behind the wheel. Discomfort in the wrist (6.89%) also emerges as a critical issue. Statistical analysis using Pearson's correlation coefficient shows a weak negative relationship (r = -0.17) between working hours and the severity of MSDs, suggesting other contributing factors beyond work duration, such as vehicle ergonomics and health conditions. REBA scores classify all drivers as high-risk (scores of 8-10), underscoring the need for ergonomic interventions, including better seating and work practice improvements, to reduce the risk of MSDs and promote driver well-being.</span></p>
