The application of AI in medicine is anticipated to grow tenfold during the next five years. India is using AI to enhance healthcare by assisting with public health monitoring, disease identification, and treatment. AI-powered sustainable technologies have great promise for India's healthcare and wellness sector, especially for boosting medication development and discovery, improving patient outcomes, and boosting operational efficiency. AI is also being utilized to increase productivity and develop individualized treatment programs. By tackling important issues like accessibility, price, and service quality, AI holds the potential to completely transform healthcare and wellbeing in India. The paper studies the role of AI in sustainable healthcare & wellbeing in India, its challenges & risks.
