  • <p>This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Islamic human development and economic growth on poverty rates in South Sumatra Province. This study was conducted in 17 regencies / cities in South Sumatra Province for the period 2014 - 2023. The analysis technique uses panel data regression with the help of the Eviews 12 application with hypothesis testing using the t-test and F-test. Based on the results of the model accuracy test, it is known that the best model in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). The results of the study indicate that Islamic human development has a negative and significant effect on poverty rates, economic growth has a negative and significant effect on poverty rates, simultaneously Islamic human development and economic growth have a significant effect on poverty rates in South Sumatra Province.</p>
