- <p><span lang="EN-US">This document provides the supplementary materials for the paper entitled <em>“Accuracy Assessment of GEDI and ICESat-2 Canopy Height Products by Excluding Geolocation Error Based on Virtual Sampling Units.”</em></span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">These materials provide: (1) Section S-A: a detailed rationale for the selection of the study sites, including comprehensive characteristics for each site; (2) Section S-B: a complete description of the quality control indicators and their specific thresholds that were applied to the GEDI L2A and ICESat-2 ATL08 products; and (3) Section S-C: supplementary statistical results of Section Ⅳ.C (in </span><strong><span lang="EN-US">main text</span></strong><span lang="EN-US">) for the analysis of influencing factors on L2A and ATL08 product accuracy. This section provides detailed quantitative results for the effects of continuous variables (</span><span lang="EN-US">Table</span><span lang="EN-US"> SⅢ), a statistical assessment of other influencing variables to support the single-factor analysis (</span><span lang="EN-US">Table</span><span lang="EN-US"> SⅣ), and validation scatterplots for a case of exploratory analysis of interacting factors (Fig. S1).</span></p>
