contents
Measuring the area of torn cloth with irregular shapes can be difficult and time-consuming. This study presents a method to calculate the area using coordinates and the cross product. The torn cloth is drawn on graph paper to mark key points across the torn cloth's graph. These points are used to create vectors, and the cross product is applied to find the area. This method is simple, accurate, and avoids the need for complex tools. The results show that it works well for irregular shapes and can be useful in fields like textile studies and forensics.
