This study examines the critical role of Strategic Operations Management (SOM) in enhancing organizational effectiveness within contemporary healthcare delivery environments. By integrating principles from operations management such as process optimization, strategic planning, and technology deployment healthcare institutions can address operational inefficiencies, improve patient outcomes, and sustain competitive advantage. Drawing on empirical evidence from both high-income and low-resource settings, this paper analyzes key operational strategies including Lean Six Sigma, digital health integration, and performance metrics frameworks. The study also evaluates implementation challenges such as workforce resistance, limited funding, and data interoperability issues. Through a proposed six-step SOM adoption model, this research offers practical pathways for embedding strategic operations into healthcare management. Ultimately, the study underscores the imperative for healthcare organizations to evolve operationally in response to dynamic service demands and system complexities.</span></em></p>
