| contents | <p dir="ltr">The LUMEN project is organised in 8 WPs, involving 20 organisations from 10 countries and about 90 individuals. Positioned at the interface between research and engineering, the project aims to develop a white-label discovery platform that adapts to the diverse needs of scientific communities by providing a user-friendly tool for data sharing. </p> <p dir="ltr">This DMP is designed to manage the data associated with the development and deployment of the LUMEN components: white-label discovery platform, meta-search engine, infrastructure for semantics, etc. This DMP identifies all types of data that will be generated or reused during the three-year project, and outlines measures to ensure that the data is FAIR and compliant with GDPR requirements.</p> <p dir="ltr">This DMP excludes data from the scientific communities involved in LUMEN (Mathematics, Social Sciences and Humanities, Molecular Dynamics, Earth System Science). The project is not responsible for managing their data, but only for developing tools to facilitate its sharing.</p> <p dir="ltr">The DMP follows the Horizon Europe guidelines for DMPs. It is based on thorough desk research and input from data management experts, LUMEN WP Leaders and the LUMEN Technical Coordinator. This document is designed to be dynamic, evolving as new research data are integrated into the project.</p> <p dir="ltr">The main benefits of this DMP are to serve as a guide for project members, ensure the reproducibility of LUMEN's development, and enhance the long-term sustainability of the platform by maintaining clear records of data origins and evolution. This DMP also aims to ensure that all LUMEN data is GDPR compliant, thereby protecting personal information.</p> <p>This deliverable is currently under review by the European Commission.</p> |
