-
This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal multipurpose cream
utilizing the therapeutic properties of Neem (Azadirachta indica), Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosasinensis), and Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis miller). These botanicals are widely recognized
for their synergistic benefits in skincare, including antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiinflammatory, and moisturizing effects. Neem provides strong antibacterial and antifungal
action, making the cream effective for acne-prone and irritated skin. Hibiscus, rich in natural
AHAs and antioxidants, aids in gentle exfoliation and promotes skin elasticity and brightness.
Aloe Vera acts as a natural moisturizer and healing agent, soothing inflamed or dry skin and
accelerating the repair of minor cuts and burns. The cream was formulated using a stable oil- inwater emulsion base and evaluated for key parameters such as pH, viscosity, spreadability,
stability, and skin compatibility. Results suggest that the herbal cream is safe for topical use and
offers a holistic, plant-based alternative to conventional skincare products for daily use and
treatment of common skin concerns.
