| contents | <p><span><span lang="EN-US">This study examines the alarming rise in suicides among the Baloch people (particularly, focuses on state pressure (e.g., state-backed death squad and military) on their lives, exemplified by the case studies of Ms. A (she) and Mr. H. (he). Employing a qualitative methodology and drawing upon the concept of “Colonial Suicidology,” this research aims to understand how state intervention in Balochistan has created conditions of extreme distress, leading individuals to consider suicide as a final recourse.
