•
This paper looks at how virtual reality (VR) travel and metaverse tourism have popped up and grown as answers to the problems the global tourism industry has faced since COVID-19. It checks out how VR tech, digital twins, and immersive platforms are making ways to market tourism, keep cultures alive, and try out food. Because travel got difficult, folks started using digital tools more. Now, tourist spots are using 360-degree videos, 3D modeling, and metaverse stuff to give super real and limitless travel choices. The paper gives a lot of attention to Digital Twin Hotels and Unreal Digital Destinations (UDDs). These mix real and virtual spaces to make experiences that happen at the same time in different places. It also talks about Thai culture tourism in digital spaces, like virtual Thai food and telling stories to share cultural history. The research says that metaverse platforms could totally change how destinations build their brand, get people involved, and grow tourism that lasts. In the future, expect to see metaverse rules, designs that get everyone involved, and creative companies shaping how we experience tourism.

Keywords:
Virtual Reality (VR) Travel; Metaverse Tourism; Digital Twin Hotels; Unreal Digital Destinations (UDDs); Immersive Experiences; Thai Cultural Tourism; Cultural Heritage Preservation; Virtual Thai Cuisine; Destination Branding; Post-COVID Tourism Innovation; 360-Degree Media; 3D Modeling; Sustainable Tourism; Digital Transformation; Tourism Marketing; Smart Tourism Technologies; Participatory Design; Metaverse Governance; Creative Industries; Virtual Experience Design
