•
This research paper explores the level of awareness, adoption, and challenges related to sustainable farming practices among farmers in Maharashtra, India. A structured questionnaire was used to collect responses from 20 farmers. The findings revealed that while all respondents were aware of sustainable farming, only 40% had adopted such practices, mainly due to lack of training and high input costs. Commonly used practices included organic manure and mixed cropping. The paper concludes that with increased awareness, government support, and proper training, sustainable agriculture has strong potential for wider adoption.
