•
This study proposes a second-order differential equation to describe how economic conditions

affect the progression of schizophrenia. The model is based on the following equation:

aX''-bX'+cX=Σ(qp/h-ez)

Here, represents the severity of symptoms. q, p, ,h , e and z represent economic anxiety, individual

vulnerability, social support, systemic exclusion, and external stress factors, respectively. Simulations

with realistic parameters quantitatively verify the impact of economic crises and policy interventions on

mental health. This model provides a dynamic framework to describe the relationship between

psychiatric disorders and economic conditions, offering quantitative insight for public mental health

policy.
