contents <p><span>The present paper provides an overview of annual plants diversity at one of Tobruk valleys (named Shabruq, or Al-Marsas) in east Libya, with special reference to phytogeography and the identification of vegetation patterns. In addition, to provide the basics tentative guidelines towards the protection and utilization of indigenous plants.</span></p> <p><span>The aim of this study is to survey and biodiversity status of Wadi Shabruq in Tobruk city in Libya which is called Al-Marsas. The study was carried out in the period between February and April 2022, with weekly trips, and the result of the survey led to the collection and identification of 46<span> </span>plant species belonging to 23 families and 40 genera. </span></p>
