contents
I propose a new mathematical framework for the origin and structure of the observable universe, grounded in the principle of causal emergence. In this theory, all physical reality unfolds from a timeless, universal wave functional (Ξ), projected locally and causally into existence by an expansion operator at the speed of light. The boundary of reality is defined by an expanding causal front, beyond which nothing—not even the vacuum—exists or is defined. Inside this front, all predictions of quantum field theory and general relativity are exactly reproduced. The Law of Causal Emergence provides the first explicit, mathematically rigorous boundary between being and nothingness, resolves the paradoxes of quantum nonlocality and the origin of time, and offers a new perspective on the meaning of the speed of light. We discuss the framework’s compatibility with known physics, its distinguishing empirical signatures, and its implications for cosmology, causality, and the foundations of reality.

Author: Mohammed Abdelraheem Ahmed, Independent Researcher, London, UK
