| contents | <p>Stunting in Indonesia in children aged 0-23 months is mostly male, which is 6.4% and severe stunting is detected at 13.9%. Effortsto increase body weight can be made by doing complementary therapy, namely baby massage. Community service is carried out to increase mothers' knowledge about baby massage and increasing baby weight. The methods used in this community service program are counseling and baby massage demonstration. The process of giving pre-test and post-test questions to measure knowledge and weight measurement results before community service activities and 1 month after the activity to measure weight gain. The activity was carried out on October 7, 2023, and was attended by 18 mothers of toddlers at the Kenanga RW III Posyandu, Ngaliyan District. The results of the statistical test of the counseling activity on mothers' knowledge and changes in body weight showed significant results (p <0.005). Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that the community service activity "Optimizing Mothers' Knowledge About Baby Massage as an Effort to Prevent Stunting" has succeeded in increasing mothers' knowledge and increasing babies' weight.</p> |
