contents <p>Stroke remains the second leading cause of death and the foremost cause of long-term<br>disability worldwide. Despite advances in acute stroke management, prehospital delays continue<br>to undermine outcomes. Mobile Stroke Units (MSUs) have demonstrated promise but<br>remain limited by cost, scalability, and geographic reach. This paper proposes a scalable alternative:<br>leveraging existing Emergency Care Centers (ECCs) equipped with fixed CT scanners<br>and real-time telestroke consultation. This model, supported by platforms such as Sevaro,<br>enables rapid triage, diagnosis, and treatment initiation—especially in rural and underserved<br>regions. Furthermore, we advocate for a paradigm shift from purely neurological intervention<br>to a neuro-immune framework, emphasizing post-stroke inflammation and long-term neuroprotection.</p>
