HE, coll. NHMO.</p><p><b>Biology:</b> The whitish yellow larvae develop gregariously in galled flower buds of <i>Sorbus</i> spp. (Rosaceae). Our records are all from <i>Sorbus aucuparia</i>. Infected buds become enlarged and do not open. Univoltine; pupation and hibernation in the soil.</p><p><b>Distribution:</b> Widespread in Europe including Norway, Sweden and Denmark.</p> |
