This study explores the awareness levels among primary school teachers regarding the concept of sustainable environmental development and evaluates the activities they implement to raise awareness among students. The research was conducted using a descriptive method, involving 47 teachers from 16 Zilla Parishad Primary Schools under the Siddhewadi Cluster in Pandharpur Taluka, Maharashtra. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed to assess teacher knowledge, implementation of environmental activities, and their effectiveness. The findings reveal that while a majority of teachers are aware of the concept and regularly conduct awareness activities, a significant portion lacks full understanding or consistent engagement.
