contents
In recent years, letterpress has experienced a kind of renaissance around the world, with numerous institutions and individuals reviving and reusing this technique. Despite being a specialized field, the community exploring it has been growing and has already reached a considerable size, including in the Iberian Peninsula. From the initiative of a small group of enthusiasts, a meeting was organized with the intention of alternating annually between Portugal and Spain, contributing to the exploration of letterpress as a mediator in the process of knowledge construction and creativity. The aim of this work is to examine the contribution of the project “Tipos Ibéricos” (Iberian Meeting of letterpress) held in Urueña, Spain, on May 18 and 19, 2024, and its subsequent development to the field of letterpress.
