Khudhur.</p><p><b>Remarks:</b> This species is part of the Syro-Iranian faunal element (Aspöck <i>et al</i>. 2001). It has a wider distribution than the other species occurring in the Middle East, extending to Afghanistan and the Arabian Peninsula (Aspöck <i>et al</i>. 2001). It is reported here as a new record for Iraq.</p><p>The pterostigma of the forewing is entirely white (Fig. 3D). The subcosta is also primarily dark brown.</p> |
