Khudhur.</p><p><b>Remarks:</b> This species is a widespread, polycentric eremial faunal element (Aspöck <i>et al</i>. 2001). Its occurrence in eremial areas has been documented from the Sahara, the Arabian Peninsula, and the arid mountains of Asia to India (Oswald 2024).</p><p>It can be distinguished from other <i>Creoleon</i> species in the region by the yellow wing venation, the pattern of the pronotum in dorsal view, the narrow yellow distal ring of the abdomen segments, and the missing cross-vein in the anal area of the forewing between A2 and A3.</p> |
