contents
This is a dataset of the panurginus polytrichus wing cells collected from various land cover. The purpose of this dataset is to create vector-based graphics that can be analyzed using elliptical fourier analysis to determine the difference in shape of an indivudal bee's left and right wing cell, in order to gain its asymmetry value. Wing asymmetry is often the result of poor developmental health in bees, and so analyzing the wing asymmetry of bees can point to specific environmental factors as the cause of said developmental health decline, and in this case by land cover.
