contents <p><span>Abstract:</span><span> Tribal women of Jammu and Kashmir play an important role in the region's traditional fabric. They are custodian of the of their traditional wisdom, cultural practices, and community cohesiveness are critical to conserving the state's unique tribal legacy. According to the 2011 Census of India, the state of Jammu and Kashmir is residence to a number of tribal communities, including the Gujjars, Bakarwals, Gaddis and Paharis, each having its own social structure & cultural practices. <span>  </span>Nonetheless, despite their significant contributions, indigenous women suffer a number of problems that affects their general well-being. Socioeconomic differences often hinder their access to essential services, such as excellent healthcare, education, and job prospects. Due to the isolated and sometimes inaccessible settings of their communities, they have a restricted amount of access to contemporary conveniences and governmental services. Subjective well-being is very important for tribal women in the Jammu and Kashmir region. The study aims to analyze the impact on their entire way of life, empowerment and social development. Individuals' opinions and assessments of their life satisfaction, pleasure, and fulfilment, taking into consideration their distinct cultural and social settings, are referred as overall subjective wellbeing, in order to promote their quality of life.</span></p> <p><strong><span>Keywords:</span></strong><span> <span>Women, Subjective Well Being, Government Policies</span></span></p>
