The research employed a literature review case studies and analysis of best practices from global library systems to satisfy the objectives of the study. The study reveals the complex interplay between sustainability inclusiveness and diversity in shaping the future of libraries in the digital era. It highlighted the evolving role of libraries as community hubs contributing to social cohesion and equitable access to information. It highlighted the barriers to access and participation among underserved populations and proposes practical interventions and policy decisions. It underscores the importance of community engagement diverse collections inclusive programming and staff policies in promoting sustainability and inclusiveness. The study offers a comprehensive structure for Nigerian libraries for technology adoption and social changes ensuring they serve as sustainable and accessible institutions that support the diverse needs of their communities. Practical interventions and policy decisions that contributes to the development of inclusive and sustainable library ecosystems in Nigeria were highlighted.</p> |
