According to their findings, the male of this species exhibits a previously undescribed form of sexual dimorphism characterised by a pair of sclerotised lobes in the anal region — an unusual feature within this family. In the present study, numerous additional specimens were collected from the same area. The newly collected females and males are similar to the original type specimens in terms of morphological features (Özbek and Halliday, 2015).</p> |
