contents <p><span>In classical fluid dynamics, turbulence is understood primarily through the energy cascade proposed by Kolmogorov, in which energy is transferred from large </span><span>eddies to progressively smaller ones. This framework, while successful in many contexts, does not fully capture the intermittent and chaotic features observed in turbulent flows. In this work, we introduce the concept of </span><span>phantom tunnels</span><span>: transient, </span><span>fractal structures that act as conduits guiding energy transfer across scales. These </span><span>tunnels are proposed as geometric and mathematical entities, with properties that </span><span>suggest a unifying framework linking turbulence, quantum physics, astrophysics, </span><span>and biological flows. We further develop a mathematical description using fractal </span><span>dimensions, scaling relations, and the IFO Universal Operator, complemented by </span><span>conceptual diagrams.</span> </p>
