R. Zariquiey).</p><p><b>Remarks</b></p><p>Zariquiey (1924) cites the capture of a number of specimens but does not mention exactly how many. In the MCNB collection we have found 19 specimens with red labels printed with “ Typus ”, the exceptions being MZB 78-1345 and MZB 78-1925, which have red labels with the hand-written inscriptions “TIPO” and “COTIPO”, respectively. Escolà (1969) reports the same number of specimens. In the MNHNP general collection (box 74) we have located at least four specimens with identical labels of origin that also have a red label inscribed with “ Typus ”. According to Jeannel (1924a), this material is part of the type series deposited in the Biospeologica collection. As well, we have located in the MNCNM collection (box 28) a specimen with identical information and a red hand-written label inscribed with “COTIPO”.</p> |
