contents <p><span>This data set contains anonymized psychological and biological information collected in 2023 from 209 survivors of the 1988 Halabja chemical assault in Iraq's Kurdistan Region.</span> <span>Trauma-related psychopathology was assessed with valid and culturally relevant psychometric tools (PCL-5, HSCL-25, PHQ-15, PSS-14, and War & Adversity Checklist) and biological indicators of stress (hair cortisol/cortisone).</span> <span>Data were collected by standardized Sorani Kurdish interviews in collaboration with hair sampling.</span></p>
