While it contributes significantly to modern educational thought, pragmatism also faces criticism for overlooking spiritual and ethical absolutes, and for potentially promoting a utilitarian and materialistic outlook. Despites its limitations pragmatism remains a key influence in shaping democratic, experiential, and evolving educational practices.</p>
