contents <p>This Python 3 script reads and corrects RSTN 1 second data (available from <a href="https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/stp/space-weather/solar-data/solar-features/solar-radio/rstn-1-second/">https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/stp/space-weather/solar-data/solar-features/solar-radio/rstn-1-second/</a>) from one of the four stations (Learmonth, Palehua, Sagamore Hill and San Vito) for a defined time period. It stores the downloaded raw data in a subfolder. After reading the data into a pandas DataFrame, the data is corrected using the corresponding daily fluxes from Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters (<a href="https://solar.nro.nao.ac.jp/norp/data/daily/">https://solar.nro.nao.ac.jp/norp/data/daily/</a>), to ensure reliable flux values during bursts. Additionally, the background (calculated at a fixed timestamp, defined in 'config.json') is subtracted. The script returns a pandas DataFrame of the raw and corrected fluxes and plots a simple time series with both.</p>
