| contents | <p>Source code for the atmosphere (ICON) and ocean (NEMO) models used for the reanalysis-driven evaluation simulations for the Baltic and North Seas (NBS) with a regional coupled ocean–atmosphere model (ROAM-NBS) and the uncoupled ocean model (NEMO-NBS).</p> <p>The ICON source code is similar to the public ICON release icon_2024.07 (https://gitlab.dkrz.de/icon/icon-model/-/tree/release-2024.07-public), with additional interfaces for the coupling with NEMO via oasis3-mct. NEMO source code is equivalent to version 4.2.0 (https://forge.nemo-ocean.eu/nemo/nemo/-/tree/4.2.0). Changes were applied to the reading routine of the initialization fields and some machine specific changes for better efficiency.<br>Additionally, the source code for the coupler (OASIS3-MCT_v5.0) as well as for the output server (XIOS_rev2331) are provided.</p> <p>The model codes were run on the HPC of Deutscher Wetterdienst but can be adapted to other HPCs.</p> <p> </p> |
