•
This study explores how core elements of film aesthetics—cinematography, editing, visual effects (VFX), and music—interact to shape audience psychology, particularly in terms of emotion, attention, and immersion. Drawing from film theory, media psychology, and neurocinematics, the paper synthesizes nearly two decades of research and case analyses from acclaimed films such as Parasite, Oppenheimer, Dune, Joker, and Avatar: The Way of Water. The findings show that while each aesthetic element has distinct psychological effects, the greatest impact arises from their integration, creating multisensory immersion that aligns cognition and emotion. The study also identifies gaps in cross-cultural analysis, technological frontiers (VR/AR/AI), and multimodal research, offering directions for future scholarship. Overall, the paper positions cinema as not only an art form but also a psychological technology that synchronizes audience perception and emotion.
