- <p><strong>Abstract</strong><br>We introduce a simple, dimensionless diagnostic, Θ, for characterising coherence in LTE hydrogen recombination lines using electron temperature, spectral linewidth, and fundamental constants. Using 143 LTE sources, Θ behaves consistently with no observed Θ > Θ_D violations. The associated dataset is included.</p>
