| contents | <p>The article gives a historical review of the moovement of inventors and innovators<br>in the agriculturе of Soviet Belarus. Special attention is paid to their activities in 1960–1980s. Тhe<br>members of the All-Union Society of Inventors and Innovators, which was created in 1958, carried<br>out a great deal of work to improve production and introduce technological advances and best<br>practices into it. Trade unions developed and directed the creative activity of production innovators.<br>However during the years of «perestroika» the activity of All-Union Society of Inventors and<br>Innovators weakened due to economic and political changes and upheavals in the<br>country. Shortcomings in the organization of invention and rationalization in the agro-industrial<br>complex of Belarus are noted.</p> |
