contents
This paper critiques the simulation hypothesis not on probability grounds, but by testing whether the universe we inhabit makes sense as a designed artifact. It systematically eliminates plausible design scenarios—aliens, future humans, purposeless systems, or study-driven models—by highlighting contradictions such as the fidelity barrier, the programmer paradox, the prevalence of optimization alongside waste, and the irrelevance of cosmic vastness. The conclusion is that the immersive “Matrix-style” simulation hypothesis collapses, and the most consistent explanation is that we are living in base reality.
