- <p>We extend the arithmetic method of axis lifting to define prime factorization under<br>decimal invariance. In this framework, multiplication by powers of 10 is treated as<br>a neutral axis shift, so that decimal expansion does not alter the underlying prime<br>structure. We illustrate the method with the fine-structure constant α, showing that<br>α−1 acts as a harmonic middle of the number lattice in analogy with the principle<br>of least action. Connections to Koide’s charged-lepton relation and several auxiliary<br>arithmetic identities are also described.</p>
