contents <p>The purpose of this scholarly work is identify what is institutional bullying, and checks their growth within the national stage, through jurisprudence research by the relevant court. More than this review, check what are the impacts on the economic aspects for society, businesses and employees whom, somehow, are affected by this type of harassment.</p> <p>In this context, it was possible to identify a gradual increase in sues in Brazilian courts when talking about institutional moral harassment, showing that employees are seeking better conditions of work environment. However, in an interview with manager of a company in the chemical industry, it was possible to identify a cultural change in companies to avoid the constant moral harassment that were occurring.</p> <p>The research shows that the jurisprudence is different from what we heard from the respondent. If companies are changing their behavior to avoid harassment, why the number of court cases increases every year?</p>
