contents
ABSTRACT. This paper summarises the results of technological laboratory studies conducted to establish the beneficiation of oxide copper ore from a porphyry copper deposit. The conducted studies include material and particle size ore composition, as well as the acid absorption of the technological sample. The aim of our research is to present laboratory experiments for establishing the possibility and prospects for chemical leaching to extract copper from oxide ores. The results of the studies and the estimated calculations indicate that a 75 % copper extraction can be achieved within 90 - 95 days at a consumption of H2SO4 46 kg/t ore - 2.0 t/t extracted copper.
