| contents | <p>This article proposes a unified governance paradigm that integrates peace, diplomacy, and leadership as interdependent pillars for addressing the overlapping crises of the twenty-first century conflict, inequality, climate change, and institutional fragility. Peace is framed as the ethical and psychological foundation for stability and justice, diplomacy as the mechanism for inclusive dialogue and conflict resolution, and leadership as the transformative force that embeds these values into structures, processes, and accountability systems.</p> <p>Drawing on theory and comparative case studies including Colombia’s 2016 peace accord, Rwanda’s post-genocide reconstruction, Nordic governance models, and ECOWAS-led regional diplomacy, the paper demonstrates how societies thrive when governance rests on this triad. The analysis underscores that traditional governance approaches, focused narrowly on power or efficiency, are insufficient in today’s complex global landscape. Instead, the synergy of peace, diplomacy, and leadership offers a pathway to sustainability, justice, and long-term societal transformation. The article concludes with policy recommendations for embedding these pillars into governance frameworks worldwide.</p> |
