The study introduces new taxa of mollusks, including Columbarium pagoda costata subsp. nov., Coralliobia densicostata sp. nov., Leptoconchus exopolitus sp. nov., Buccinum mysticum sp. nov., and Asprella alabasteroides sp. nov., alongside treatment of Mitra (Cancilla) melaniana Lamarck, 1835.</p> <p>Shikama’s contributions to malacology and paleontology remain influential, and this record is dedicated to his legacy.
