contents <p>A Regularized Hybrid-Optimization Framework for High-Resolution Modeling of the Lithospheric Stress Field: Application to the Makran–Zagros Collision Zone</p> <p>This repository implements a regularized hybrid-optimization framework for high-resolution lithospheric stress modeling. The approach uses a location-aware Inverse Total Variation (iTV) regularizer, Bayesian hyperparameter tuning, and a final constrained solve via SQP. The package provides MATLAB (R2016b baseline) and GMT (5.x baseline) pipelines, input datasets, and ready-to-use outputs for any region. The implementation extends and generalizes the classical frameworks of Flesch et al. (2001) and Hirschberg et al. (2019).</p> <p>Applicability.
