contents
This essay explores a simple thought experiment: what if zero acted as an empty operator rather than a destroyer? In classical arithmetic, addition and subtraction with zero preserve values, but multiplication erases and division collapses. By extending the neutrality of n+0=n and n-0=n to all operations, we propose n*0=n and n/0=n. The result is a coherent and symmetrical arithmetic where zero changes nothing. This philosophical essay frames the intuition behind the Zero Coherence Law, making the concept accessible as a bridge between mathematics and philosophy.

Note on validation:
This result is part of the Harald Wave Field Theory (HWFT) program. Evidence is presented in parallel tracks:

Open, classical validation — φ-law oblateness and c²-form law, tested directly on NASA/IAU datasets.

Controlled-access validation — randomness/prime structure results under a 12-month responsible disclosure embargo (auto-open 2026-09-27).

See the Golden Framework community for cross-linked works:
https://zenodo.org/communities/golden-framework/
