| contents | <p>The standard cosmological model(ΛCDM) postulates the existence of mysterious dark energy with a constant equation of state to explain the accelerated expansion of the universe. This research proposes an alternative model that explains accelerated expansion without requiring any unknown forms of dark energy or dark matter. The proposed model is based on the hypothesis that accelerated expansion results from the gradual release of gravitational potential energy stored in the universe, which itself is a consequence of the gradual decrease in "gravitational uniformity" due to the formation of large-scale structures (galaxies, clusters, and superclusters). Using N-body simulations and information entropy measures to quantify the decrease in uniformity, this model seeks to provide a physical mechanism based on established principles.</p> <p>This document is the final version of the research proposal "A Model for Cosmic Accelerated Expansion: The Role of Gravitational Entropy and Structure Formation," prepared after thorough revisions and incorporation of critical feedback. The most significant changes implemented include:</p> <p>· Precise redefinition of key concepts: Concepts of "gravitational entropy" and "decrease in gravitational uniformity" have been redefined within the framework of Shannon information entropy, with precise quantification methods provided (including scale dependence management using wavelet decomposition).</p> <p>· Completion of the methodology section: Technical methods including density field calculation from discrete particle data using the "Cloud-in-Cell" method, definition of a dimensionless normalization constant for entropy, and design of a numerical "causality test" to distinguish between correlation and causal relationship have been elaborated in detail.</p> <p>· Enhanced theoretical foundations: Theoretical support for the model has been strengthened by adding references to foundational works by Penrose (2010) on the connection between entropy and gravity, and Verlinde (2011) on emergent gravity.</p> <p>· Critical and proactive approach: Instead of hiding technical challenges, they have been addressed transparently (such as scale dependence), and scientific solutions have been provided for each.</p> <p>Compared to the initial draft, this version has been elevated to an acceptable level for submission to academic forums in terms of technical depth, conceptual accuracy, and defensibility against criticism.</p> <p> </p> <p>Transparency and Collaboration Statement</p> <p>This statement applies to the associated research proposal(s) by Aidin Baradaran Moghadam.</p> <p>1. Invitation for Collaboration:<br>This work is presented as a starting point for a ambitious research program.We openly and warmly invite experts in cosmology, theoretical physics, quantum gravity, and related fields to engage with these ideas.
