- <p>Inventory of 13,665 sherds covering the majority of the imported pottery (11,101 sherds) from Neville Chittick's excavations at Manda in 1970 and 1978 undertaken over a nine-day period at the National Museums of Kenya store in the fort at Lamu. Work undertaken by Seth Priestman in 2010. The results were subsequently included in his PhD thesis (Priestman 2013) and the later connected publication <em>Ceramic Exchange and the Indian Ocean Economy</em> (Priestman 2021a; 2021b).</p>
