contents <p><strong><span lang="EN-GB">Abstract</span></strong></p> <p><span lang="EN-GB">The swift advancement of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), is transforming the global workforce and redefining the skill sets required in business environments As AI continues to permeate different areas of business operations ranging from the automation of customer service to the use of predictive analytics and strategic decision-making, institutions must respond proactively.<span>  </span>This </span><span>paper</span><span lang="EN-GB"> examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into business education programs in Delta State, Nigeria, as a pathway to enhancing undergraduate students' readiness for future employment. the </span><span>paper</span><span lang="EN-GB"> highlights the significance of AI in transforming pedagogy, curriculum content, and skill development. Additionally, AI-powered business simulations are fostering digital literacy and problem-solving skills, equipping students with the skills required for the modern workforce. This </span><span>paper</span><span lang="EN-GB"> also identifies critical challenges such as infrastructure deficits, faculty resistance, policy gaps,</span><span lang="EN-GB"> </span><span lang="EN-GB">and limited AI literacy among business educators. In Addressing these challenges, </span><span>the paper</span><span lang="EN-GB"> proposes strategic recommendations including curriculum reform, faculty training, industry collaboration, and inclusive access initiatives were put forward. The paper also emphasized the prospective role of AI in business education programs, calling for collective efforts among policymakers, business educators, and technological companies to fully harness AI’s potential. By integrating AI-driven innovations, business education programme can become more inclusive, efficient, and prepare future-ready<strong> </strong>business education </span><span>graduate</span><span lang="EN-GB">s for the industry.</span></p>
